Long-Term Care and Client Rights November 19, 2018

In Ontario, long-term care homes must follow a law called the Long-Term Care Homes Act and it includes a Residents’ Bill of Rights.

Speaker: Jane E. Meadus, is a lawyer with the Advocacy Centre for the Elderly (ACE), and Institutional Advocate. She is a Distinguished Fellow of the Canadian Centre for Elder Law Studies and the 2016 recipient of the Osgoode Professional Development Award for Outstanding Contribution to Continuing Legal Education.
